Lightweight YouTube frontend that’s supposed to be used without the proprietary YouTube-API or any of Google’s (proprietary) play-services. NewPipe only parses the YouTube website in order to gain the information it needs.

Итак, представьте, что вы приобретаете совершенно новый телефон. Первое, что вы видите – экран блокировки. Дальше – экран приложений. Набор этих программ всегда является разным. На некоторых из них уже сразу установлены приложения Google. Но не на всех. Для того, чтобы работала определённая программа от этого разработчика, нужно скачать и другие. Это займет много памяти. Но не совсем обязательно этим заниматься. Если вам нужно, например, приложение YouTube, достаточно лишь установить программу NewPipe.

Это так называемый клиент YouTube, который не использует никакие библиотеки, каким-нибудь образом зависящие от Google или YouTube Api. Приложение NewPipe анализирует исключительно YouTube, и оттуда получает всю информацию, которая требуется. Что же это значит? Это означает то, что вы сможете воспользоваться данным приложением на любом устройстве, даже там, где сервисы Google не установлены. И это далеко не единственная полезная функция из всех, которые имеет данное приложение. Во-первых, ключевым моментом является его небольшой размер. Во-вторых, это возможность прослушивать музыку в фоновом режиме с выключенным экраном (теперь заряд аккумулятора будет растрачиваться медленнее) и совершенно бесплатно. Её можно и загрузить. Существует также возможность выбора расширения видео, связывать приложение с аудио- или видео-проигрывателем и выбор директория для сохранения всех ваших файлов.

Приложение было скачано более двух с половиной миллионов раз, хотя разработано было всего лишь в начале лета две тысячи девятнадцатого года. Скачать его можно совершенно бесплатно. Приложение удивит вас приятным интерфейсом. Не переживайте о том, что работа с данной программой может показаться сложной. Вы быстро разберетесь. Особенно, если учесть, что здесь есть русский язык, помимо других сорока двух.

NewPipe is a free and open-sourcemedia player app that is most well-known as a YouTube client. It is only available in the F-Droidsoftware repository^[2] (or as a direct APK download from the GitHub repository) and is only for Android devices. It can be used as an alternative to the official YouTube app.^[3][4][5]

Version historyEdit

NewPipe was originally released as Version 0.3 on 4 September 2015 and was created by Christian Schabesberger.^[6] Notable updates include:^[7]

• Support for displaying sites like the «Trending» section of YouTube (since 0.11.0)

• YouTube livestreaming and ex/import of subscriptions (since 0.13.0)

TechnologyEdit

NewPipe does not use the official YouTube API, but instead scrapes the website for video and meta-data (such as likes, dislikes, and views). This is done intentionally to decrease the amount of data shared with Google. The web-scraping tool is called the NewPipe-Extractor^[8] and is a stand-alone project. It is also used in the free and open-source app SkyTube.^[9]

In newer versions of the app, the Extractor supports both YouTube and SoundCloud, and there are plans to extend it to more platforms.

Because of the way NewPipe accesses YouTube without using the API or displaying advertisements, it would be in conflict with the Google terms of service if it were available on the Google Play Store.^[10][11]

NewPipe supports multiple services. Our docs provide more info on how a new service can be added to the app and the extractor. Please get in touch with us if you intend to add a new one. Currently supported services are:

When a change to the NewPipe code occurs (due to either adding features or bug fixing), eventually a release will occur. These are in the format x.xx.x . In order to get this new version, you can:

• Build a debug APK yourself. This is the fastest way to get new features on your device, but is much more complicated, so we recommend using one of the other methods.
• Download the APK from releases and install it.
• Update via F-droid. This is the slowest method of getting updates, as F-Droid must recognize changes, build the APK itself, sign it, then push the update to users.

When you install an APK from one of these options, it will be incompatible with an APK from one of the other options. This is due to different signing keys being used. Signing keys help ensure that a user isn’t tricked into installing a malicious update to an app, and are independent. F-Droid and GitHub use different signing keys, and building an APK debug excludes a key. The signing key issue is being discussed in issue #1981, and may be fixed by setting up our own repository on F-Droid.

In the meanwhile, if you want to switch sources for some reason (e.g. NewPipe’s core functionality was broken and F-Droid doesn’t have the update yet), we recommend following this procedure:

1. Back up your data via «Settings>Content>Export Database» so you keep your history, subscriptions, and playlists
2. Uninstall NewPipe
3. Download the APK from the new source and install it
4. Import the data from step 1 via «Settings>Content>Import Database»

NewPipe – это приложение для загрузки видео с YouTube. Оно является отличной альтернативной стандартному клиенту всемирно известного видеохостинга и предлагает пользователям несколько полезных фишек, которые, к сожалению, не предусмотрены в «оригинале». Ознакомиться с таковыми можно ниже.

По функционалу

В зависимости от того, что для юзера более предпочтительно, он может использовать NewPipe в качестве плеера или же загрузчика. Касательно первого, данное приложение обладает функцией, которую разработчики оригинального приложения YouTube почему-то не сочли важной – фоновое воспроизведение. Теперь Вы можете слушать на Ютуб музыку, подкасты или стримы с заблокированным экраном, спокойно отправив Android устройство в карман. Это значительно упрощает дело, ведь ранее слушать музыку или слушать аудио сопровождение, не смотря видеоряд, было, мягко говоря, не совсем комфортно. Кроме того, таким образом можно значительно сэкономить заряд аккумулятора портативного девайса.

Также NewPipe умеет загружать видео в память портативного девайса. Любой из роликов YouTube может быть поставлен в очередь на скачивание буквально одним движением – но перед этим не забудьте выбрать нужный формат и разрешение. Еще разрешается сохранить звуковую дорожку отдельно от видеоряда. 

Особенности работы

Для работы NewPipe не нужно устанавливать YouTube или сервисы Google. NewPipe отсутствует в официальном маркете. Но Вы можете скачать установочный APK файл на нашем сайте, кликнув на кнопку загрузки под статьей. Из похожих мобильных программ также советуем попробовать TubeMate.
